'KAN-NIHONICHI' started in the 1940s when a scissor manufacturer in Yamagata was commissioned to make pruning shears for sericulturalists, fruit farmers, and landscapers. They keep sending each one carefully to the market.

FEATURES

• Full-body forging × high carbon steel (1% carbon)  
  Normally, full-body forging uses low-carbon steel for workability, but the V-1 model intentionally uses high carbon steel (1%). → It's harder, keeps its edge longer, and is more durable.
  
  
• Clam-shaped blade (handcrafted 3D curved edge)
  Instead of a machine-made two-step edge, the clam-shaped blade is finished by hand. → The edge dulls more slowly and stays sharp for a long time. 
  
  
• Mirror-finished blade
  Polishing the blade surface reduces resistance when cutting and makes it easier to clean. 
  
  
• Non-slip handle
  The red and yellow grip is highly visible and slip-resistant. → Easy to handle even during long work sessions.
