Watanabe Blade is a long-established cutlery manufacturer founded in 1897 in Sanjo City, Niigata Prefecture. It continues to manufacture and sell cutlery such as kitchen knives, utility knives, and gardening tools.
The founder, Shiroji Watanabe, initially began manufacturing pliers, later expanding primarily into Kitchen knives. Shinichi Watanabe is the sixth-generation blacksmith.
