SUMMARY
Japanese Craftsmanship. Two Cutting Edges. A Saw You Can Keep.
Choose a Japanese-made Ryoba saw that cuts both along and across the wood grain. With roots in Miki, Japan, a town with a long metalworking tradition, the GYOKUCHO RAZORSAW Blue Hard 650 brings together a narrow 240 mm carbon tool steel blade, impact-hardened teeth, and an electroless nickel-plated finish. Its wooden handle is wrapped in rattan, and the blade angle can be adjusted to suit your work in dry timber. When the cutting edge needs renewing, fit an S650 replacement blade and keep using the same handle.
Choose No. 650 for the standard 240 mm Blue Hard blade with a 1.7 mm tooth pitch.

FEATURES
Standard 240 mm Blue Hard Model
No. 650 has a 0.5 mm blade thickness and a 1.7 mm tooth pitch. For a finer-toothed alternative at the same blade length, compare the No. 651 Fine Teeth model with its 1.3 mm pitch.

Impact-Hardened Teeth
The carbon tool steel blade features impact-hardened teeth.
Electroless Nickel Plating
The blade has an electroless nickel-plated finish.
Ryoba Saw — Double-Edged for Ripcuts and Crosscuts
No. 650 is a Japanese Ryoba saw, with ripcut teeth on one edge and crosscut teeth on the other. Choose the edge to suit the grain direction: ripcut along the grain or crosscut across it, all with one saw.

Cut Along the Grain
Use the ripcut edge when cutting along the wood grain, then turn the saw to use the crosscut edge when the task calls for a cut across the grain.

Narrow Blade, Balanced Handling
The Blue Hard is the narrow-blade type in the Seiun-saku series, combining a lightweight design with balanced handling for woodworking.
Adjustable Blade Angle
Adjust the blade angle to suit the work when cutting a range of dry woods.

Rattan-Wrapped Handle
The complete No. 650 saw has a wooden handle wrapped in rattan.

Replaceable Blade
Keep the saw and fit a matching S650 blade when a fresh cutting edge is needed. Select the replacement by model number, not blade length alone.

ABOUT GYOKUCHO RAZORSAW
GYOKUCHO RAZORSAW brings together Japanese saw-making expertise and practical replaceable-blade design. Its roots lie in Miki, Hyogo, a town with a long metalworking tradition, where saw craftsman Masaaki Tomosada established Razorsaw Manufacturing in 1969.
The brand places quality at the heart of its work, carefully producing each blade under strict quality control. Its in-house-developed impact-hardening equipment treats blades individually to create hard, durable cutting teeth while retaining the flexibility needed in the blade. For users, replaceable blades mean a fresh cutting edge without replacing the complete saw.
