SUMMARY
Finish protruding decorative tape and edge banding by sliding the trimmer along the edge. Made in Japan by STAR-M, the No. 4953 series combines a ceramic blade with a choice of square-edge or chamfered finishes.
Slide the tool back and forth along the edge to remove protruding tape. Choose 4953-K or the improved square type 4953-KR for a square-edge finish, or choose 4953-M03, 4953-M06 or 4953-M for the listed chamfer sizes of 0.3, 0.6 or 1.0. Each model has the same 76 × 22 × 30 mm body dimensions.

Clearance to Help Reduce Surface Damage
A gap between the tool body and the tape is designed to help reduce scratching during trimming. It is not a guarantee against surface damage. -
Compact ABS Resin Body
All five models measure 76 mm long, 22 mm wide and 30 mm high.

CHOOSING YOUR MODEL
Select the model from the Type options before ordering. The numbers 0.3, 0.6 and 1.0 identify the listed chamfer sizes, not the tool's overall dimensions. For a lighter edge break, choose 0.3; for a larger chamfer, choose 0.6 or 1.0 according to the required finish.
