Takeshi Saji is the third generation of Saji Uchihamono in Takefu City, Fukui Prefecture.

He was certified as a traditional craftsman at the young age of 44, and has over 30 years of experience and skills in making various hatchets, kitchen knives, etc.

While maintaining the tradition, he also produces knives designed with a Western taste.
